To provide input autonomously into a special needs nursery regarding specialist equipment provision for disabled children.

To provide supervision for Occupational therapy students on placement.

To maintain accurate, up to date, and relevant case recordings and any other records as specified in departmental guidance and procedures utilising tools such as Mosaic as appropriate.

To keep abreast of relevant research, knowledge and best practice in the field of occupational therapy.

To participate in training as required in the interests of the service and of his/her own career development and to maintain HCPC registration.

To participate in and prepare for supervision.

To participate in and contribute to team meetings and be an active participating member of the Disabled Children’s Team.

To carry out all work within an equal opportunities framework.

To be conversant with essential departmental policies and procedures and government legislation as necessary to carry out the job.
