OTs wanting to get involved with Occupational Therapy Week in the UK need to order the supporter pack this week.

The deadline to apply for the resource pack of materials with the motto ‘Live not Exist’ is this Friday 6 October. Please visit Survey Monkey to order yours today .

Occupational Therapy Week is 6-12 November and provides the opportunity to promote the ways in which the profession improves the lives of patients and service users, and helps to make the health and care system more efficient.

The theme this year is “I Am An Occupational Therapist” and OTs are encouraged to get involved by:

  • Inviting your senior management to a meeting to find out more about what you and your colleagues do
  • Contacting the local paper to talk about the key challenges you face and the value you deliver
  • Visiting schools to talk about careers.
